Adobe Sign: Adobe Sign is a cloud-based electronic signature service that allows you to send, sign, track, and manage signature processes using a browser or mobile device. SGI CANADA uses Adobe Sign for electronically signing offer letters that are submitted from the Workday career site portal. Documents requiring signatures are stored by Adobe in the United States during the electronic signature process and once the offer letter is signed by all parties then the document is transferred from the Adobe Sign service to the Workday service hosted in Canada. Brightcove: SGI CANADA uses this service to play videos on our websites for display on desktop, mobile and tablet devices. Brightcove may collect and report non-identifiable information about video usage. Facebook: SGI CANADA uses this service to post various updates relating to news, notices, contests, and other communications to inform and interact with users. You may read Facebook page posts without an account, but you need to register with Facebook to comment or click on the Like button. You must use your own Facebook privacy settings to control the display of this kind of information. LinkedIn: SGI CANADA uses this service to provide information about products, career opportunities and more. LinkedIn may collect and report information about activities on SGI CANADA company profile pages. MaxMind: SGI CANADA uses this service to provide you website information relevant to your location. In order to provide this functionality, MaxMind collects your computer’s or device’s IP address, postal code and other user-agent related data. This data is transferred by MaxMind and stored in the United States and United Kingdom pursuant to MaxMind’s privacy policy and terms of service.
Medallia: SGI CANADA uses the Medallia customer feedback management platform to collect customer and user feedback on our websites, applications and services. In addition to your survey responses, in order to ensure the quality of data collected and avoid duplicate responses, Medallia logs your computer’s or device’s IP address, device operating system type and version, geolocation, and postal code. This information is retained by Medallia on Canadian servers, however, Medallia may access the data from the United States, Germany, Israel, India, Philippines, and Australia, in order ensure reliability of data and technical support. Medallia has met privacy and security requirements in order to deliver this service. Twitter: SGI CANADA uses this service to share information with visitors and respond to comments and inquiries on Twitter. You may read our Twitter posts without creating a Twitter account, but to follow us on Twitter you must create an account. You can modify how much information is visible to the public by changing your privacy settings on Twitter. Personal identifying information will be visible to SGI CANADA staff and other Twitter visitors if you comment on our public pages. SGI CANADA may collect and use information that is posted on our Twitter pages. Twitter may collect and report non-identifiable information about activities on SGI CANADA Twitter pages. Workday: SGI CANADA uses Workday’s career site portal to share job opportunities and to allow candidates to apply for positions at SGI and affiliated companies. When you visit the career site portal, we may use cookies, web beacons, tags, and scripts. You may view career opportunities without an account, but to apply for a position at SGI CANADA you will need to create an account on the Workday career site portal. The portal requires an email address and password to authenticate your account. Additional basic contact information, such as name, email address, and phone number, is required to create your profile and for the recruitment process to work. When you submit a job application on the careers site, you will be asked to supply your resumé/CV so that we have your employment background and academic and professional qualifications in order to be considered for a position. As part of our commitment to diversity and inclusion, where permitted or required by law, we will ask you to provide information such as ethnicity or gender identity. We will use your contact information, such as email and telephone number, to keep in touch with you and send you relevant information throughout the course of your recruitment journey with us. YouTube: SGI CANADA posts videos and comments on our YouTube channel. You do not need to register with YouTube to watch videos. YouTube may record non-identifiable information about its site usage, such as channels and videos, but if you are logging on with a YouTube user ID, YouTube may associate information about your site use with your YouTube account, including comments made on SGI CANADA posted videos. This information may be used by SGI CANADA staff and SGI CANADA social media consultants. Personal information you include when registering with YouTube may be visible to visitors who view comments.
Ads appearing on SGI CANADA YouTube videos are delivered by YouTube and its advertising partners and are not controlled or endorsed by SGI CANADA.
